A Succesfull CPSGT Exam?

I have spoken with several of the candidates that have just sat for the new CPSGT exam and I am pleased to say that the responses for the most part have been favorable. Most of those I have spoken with believe that the exam focused on the skill sets that they studied and practiced at their career level. This should be great news for the BRPT because it would appear that the exam was neither too hard nor too easy.

Although the CPSGT exam is suppose to evaluate the basic skill sets of those who have recently entered our allied health field, it also can be used as a confidence builder, or a trial run if you will, for those that might be almost ready for the RPSGT exam. Attempting and passing this exam can provide a RPSGT candidate the experience of taking such an exam and at the same time prepares them mentally for the challenges that the RPSGT exam brings with it.

I congratulate all those candidates that sat for the first ever CPSGT exam and I applaud your efforts in quantifying your current skill level and for helping our industry introduce an entry level credential such as that provided for in most other allied health professions.
